A proposed 65-story, 1.8 million square foot commercial tower occupying the full block immediately west of Grand Central Terminal bounded by 42^nd Street, Vanderbilt Avenue, 43^rd Street, and Madison Avenue includes a new indoor public space at the block’s northeast corner.  The developer is SL Green Realty, the designer Kohn Pederson Fox.  You can see a rendering of the public space here.  The Draft Scope of Work and Environmental Assessment Statement are available here.
