Our website is a digital space for collaboration about physical space. We invite you to participate  in the creation of knowledge designed to secure greater public use of New York City’s 525 or so POPS, those zoning-created plazas, arcades, and other outdoor and indoor privately owned public spaces. Here is an archive of comments from visitors like you.

Rafael on 360 East 57th Street:
Recently renovated. Benches were removed. Now has a stone wall, but it isn't obvious that you can sit there.
Craig on 590 Madison Avenue:
Realize that with Trump Tower being attached that the Atrium now is completely void of the tables and chairs - it's a ghost of its former self - thanks to security. So don't bother.
Nathaniel on 1095 Sixth Avenue:
Who owns this?
Anonymous on 12 East 49th Street:
I am Appalled , as i entered the building the guard told me that i was'nt allowed to enter the premises and that i couldn't interview pedestrians for a school project
Webb Eaken on 1 Central Park West:
This POPS at One Central Park West behind Trump International & Tower has been closed virtually since President Trump was elected and the entire building is barricaded off. Why is this location a permanent security site and demilitarized zone when the first lady doesn't live here? Will it be barricaded off for the entirety of the Trump Presidency? This is unacceptable.
Anne Ruthmann on 300 Mercer Street:
Landscaping is well-maintained 2017

Snake on 115 East 87th Street:
Installed grates along all planters tob dissuade sitting or use of space
Andrew R on 1 Central Park West:
Space continues to be closed as of 04.24.17
Truman Burbank on 105 Duane Street:
The POPS at 105 Duane Street is required to have 19 bicycle parking spaces, which it appears never to have had. Although there are two bike racks in the space, together they will not accommodate 19 bikes. Perahps 10. The space is required to have a drinking fountain, which it does, but it has been non-functional for many years. During renovation of the adjacent highrise apartment building (2017), the POPS has been completely closed to the public and used a construction staging area for many months.
